Hey guys and girls,

I know i've been missing for a while, i've had a load of things on - one of which was this animation that I made with a friend that I wanna share with you all!

It's a project that we did for a D&AD competition to promote Hewlett Packard, it's a synchronised and sped up choreographed performance using their printers..

Watch it in HD on youtube here! www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQVGPH…

Just incase you're wondering, the paper wasn't wasted as we then reprinted each sheet, therefore turning each page into a personalised piece of direct mail for Hewlett Packard.

More projects can be found on my website - www.matthewrobinson.co.uk

I'll be getting some more paintings up at some point!
Stay safe y'all

Matt :)

Yeah it's all real, just cut into loads of sections to make our jobs a tiny bit easier!
As you can imagine, it took a hell of a lot of takes to get them to match up.. (and yes the paper has been reprinted and used for direct marketing, so all the complaints about it being wasteful have no actual basis whatsoever)

I've just been having a look around b3ta trying to find a mention (as i've been a fan of b3ta for YEARS!) ..you dont have a link perchance do you?

hm i dont know
probably it wasnt in the b3ta newsletter at all and i just imagined it but i HAVE seen this one before so im a bit confused. i thought it was in the b3ta newsletter but ive checked the recent ones and googled "b3ta newsletter" + "HP" without any luck. you should just make up an account and post it on their links forum but chances are good somebody else already did. i dont know. if it wasnt in the b3ta newsletter i just found it through random youtube browsing- what a coicidence. anyways great work and must have been such a pain in the ass. how long did it take?

6 weeks from when we got the brief to when it was completely finished, but as it was just the two of us, the organisation was the biggest problem! Cheers for looking on the b3ta newsletters anyhow! :)
